Senior Linux System Administrator
About the role
The Senior Linux System Administrator role is based onsite in Colombo 03 and is responsible for managing business applications, IT infrastructure, servers, storage, and daily IT operations. The position involves monitoring system performance, ensuring backups and disaster recovery, implementing security controls, troubleshooting incidents, and preparing operational reports. The administrator will also maintain IT documentation and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on IT systems and projects. Candidates should be mature individuals capable of leading a team and must have relevant academic qualifications and industry experience.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 03 to 04 years of Industry experience
- Mature individual with the ability to lead a team.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
