Project Manager - Odoo ERP Implementation
About the role
Cygnus ONE is seeking a Project Manager to lead Odoo ERP implementation projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from kickoff to handover. The role involves managing project plans, budgets, resources, and delivery schedules, as well as leading teams of functional consultants and developers. The Project Manager will apply accounting knowledge to oversee financial workflows and ensure successful delivery of ERP solutions that enhance business operations and financial visibility. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, proven project management skills, and an accounting qualification. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
Must have
- Hands-on experience in Odoo ERP implementation.
- Proven project management experience.
- An accounting qualification — CA, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, CMA, or a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing Odoo ERP implementations and delivering agreed project outcomes.
- Accounting qualification with a strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
- Good knowledge of Odoo business workflows across Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage teams, allocate workloads, resolve conflicts, and monitor performance.
- Strong planning, analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customer expectations.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and implementation activities.
Nice to have
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
