QA Engineer/ Intern
About the role
Crossborder Payments (Pvt) Ltd, a Sri Lankan FinTech and Payment Aggregation company operating under the Marx brand, is seeking passionate and detail-oriented individuals for QA Engineer, QA Executive, and QA Intern roles. The position involves software quality assurance and testing, including manual testing, test case creation, defect reporting, and working closely with development and business teams. Candidates may be experienced professionals or fresh graduates/undergraduates interested in starting a career in software quality assurance. Must have
- Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing
- Good understanding of Manual Testing
- Knowledge of Test Cases, Test Scenarios and Defect Reporting
- Understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration and UAT Testing
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work closely with Developers, Product and Business teams
- Basic knowledge of Software Testing concepts
- Understanding of SDLC/STLC
- Good analytical and logical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and work with a technology team
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Jira or similar QA/Project Management tools will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of API testing and automation testing will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs or Jira will be an advantage
- Academic or personal projects related to Software Testing will be an added advantage
