Developers (Front-end and back-end) Industry Experience Bootcamp & Internship
About the role
Ahken Labs is offering a 6-month intensive Full Stack Developer Bootcamp and Internship, conducted in Tamil, aimed at providing hands-on industry experience in both front-end and back-end development. Interns will participate in live company projects, working on the design, development, and maintenance of web applications, collaborating with designers and developers, and engaging in code reviews and agile workflows. The program covers the full production pipeline, UI/UX, core development, QA, deployment, and advanced topics like AI and machine learning, with a focus on both commercial and culturally impactful projects. Applicants will gain practical experience, build a strong portfolio, and may transition into permanent roles or be well-prepared for industry positions elsewhere.
Must have
- Must have Tamil as their mother tongue or be able to understand Tamil.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, at least one server-side language, and database management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies, system architectures, and workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote online environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant coursework or projects in computer science, software engineering, or related fields.
- A genuine interest in cultural and social impact projects, and in using technology to support community initiatives.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with modern front-end and back-end frameworks or libraries is highly preferred.
- A prior internship or a portfolio demonstrating full-stack work is a strong advantage.

Highlights
