Assistant Vice President - Technology & Process Excellence
About the role
The Assistant Vice President - Technology & Process Excellence at Resplendent Ceylon will lead the systems, infrastructure, and process transformation across a growing portfolio of luxury properties. This hands-on leadership role involves managing all IT infrastructure, software platforms, hardware assets, and data security governance, as well as driving business process re-engineering and technology adoption to improve efficiency. The position requires mentoring technology and operations teams, championing best practices, and providing strategic counsel to senior leadership on technology investments and their operational impact.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Advanced certification (ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma) is valued.
- 8-12 years of progressive IT and operations experience, including 4-5 years in a senior leadership role managing enterprise-scale technology environments; Hospitality or multi-site operations background preferred.
- Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, systems architecture, cybersecurity and data protection/governance; strong working knowledge of hardware, software systems, point-of-sale platforms and enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated track record in business process re-engineering, process optimisation and change management; experience identifying and eliminating operational inefficiencies through technology-based solutions.
- Excellent project management capability, with ability to manage complex, cross-functional technology and process initiatives whilst maintaining business continuity.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, results-oriented approach and high ethical standards.
- Proficiency in financial planning for IT budgets, capital investment analysis and cost-benefit assessment of technology initiatives.
