About the role

The Engineer - Southern Region at Dialog Network Services (Private) Limited is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities related to generators, electrical systems, earthing systems, and telecom infrastructure in the Southern Region. The role involves overseeing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance, managing regional operations to ensure network availability, and leading regional maintenance teams and contractors. The position also requires analyzing performance indicators, leading improvement programs, and preparing operational reports. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and experience in power engineering or telecom infrastructure operations.

Must have

B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline from a recognized university accredited by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL).
Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
Sound knowledge of power systems, generator operations, electrical infrastructure, preventive maintenance practices, and telecom site operations.
Ability to lead regional teams, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver operational and project objectives.
Minimum 2 years of experience in power engineering, telecom infrastructure operations, maintenance management, or related engineering functions will be an added advantage.

Nice to have

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management practices relevant to field operations will be a distinct advantage.
