About the role
The Solution Architect — Accelerators role at Virtusa involves designing the architecture for solution accelerators that address recurring client challenges by creating productized, deployable assets. The position requires embedding AI and generative-AI capabilities into these accelerators, collaborating with sales and delivery teams to shape proposals, conducting architecture consulting sessions, and building proofs of concept. Responsibilities also include translating business requirements into technical designs across cloud platforms, APIs, and integration patterns, setting technical standards, and guiding engineering teams through implementation. The architect is expected to keep accelerators updated with evolving AI, cloud, and platform technologies.
Must have
- Able to design and ship production-grade solution architectures across cloud, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience building and delivering AI and generative-AI solutions (LLMs and ML models) into production.
- Able to turn recurring business problems into reusable, productized accelerators.
- Able to lead architecture conversations with clients and translate business needs into clear technical designs.
- Able to guide and mentor engineering teams through delivery.
- Depth in a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its AI services.
- Familiarity with AI governance, responsible-AI practices, and security guardrails.
- Architecture certification (such as TOGAF) or cloud architecture credentials.
- Pre-sales or client-facing consulting experience.
