Associate DevOps Engineer
About the role
The Associate DevOps Engineer role is focused on building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes platforms. The position involves implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, managing containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools, and integrating security controls into development and deployment pipelines. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting infrastructure issues, maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with various teams to enhance system reliability and delivery efficiency. Applicants should have at least 1.5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering, and be familiar with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD tools, monitoring tools, scripting, and cloud security best practices. The role is onsite and open only to Sri Lankan applicants.
Must have
- 1.5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of scripting using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
Nice to have
- Prior knowledge of TenCent cloud and detailed documenting would be an added advantage
