Full-Stack Engineering Intern
About the role
Zegates is seeking a Full-Stack Engineering Intern to join their team, contributing to the development of SaaS platforms, mobile apps, and AI-powered products for clients in the US and Europe, as well as their own products like Netlise and an HR platform. The intern will work on production features across the stack, including LLM integrations, and will receive guidance from experienced engineers. Responsibilities include building web and mobile features with React, Next.js, and React Native, developing APIs and backend services with Node.js or Python, integrating LLMs, working with PostgreSQL and cloud deployments, and participating in code reviews and agile workflows. The role offers practical experience, mentorship, and the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position.
Must have
- An undergraduate or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, and at least one of React, Node.js, or Python
- A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core web concepts such as HTTP, REST, and databases
- Interest in AI and LLMs, shown through coursework, personal projects, or experimentation
- Clear communication and a willingness to ask questions and act on feedback
Nice to have
- Projects using OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, LangChain, the Vercel AI SDK, or vector databases
- Experience with Flutter or Go
- Open source contributions
- A GitHub profile or portfolio you can walk us through
