About the role
The company is seeking Senior Quality Assurance Engineers with expertise in Selenium to join their teams. The role involves creating and enhancing test cases, reviewing requirements, producing test artifacts, debugging issues, and collaborating closely with development teams to improve software quality. The position also includes responsibilities such as providing feedback to junior team members and contributing to the overall quality engineering process. Candidates should have a strong background in software testing, quality engineering methodologies, and automated testing tools, as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Must have
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in software testing
- Experience in test planning, test design, and functionality testing
- Expert knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, automated testing tools (Selenium/Appium), and continuous integration systems
- Experience in QE tools such as QMetry, HP ALM, JIRA, and Confluence
- Strong Knowledge of Java, OOP concepts and coding standards
- Must be killed at evaluating existing processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement; designing proof of concepts that best fit company needs
- A solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering concepts
- Effective communication (oral and written) skills including problem-solving, prioritizing, and interpersonal relationship building
- A thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge
- The ability to work independently and maintain good relationships with the team member
