About the role

The Manager - IT Application Support will lead the Bank's IT Application Support function, providing strategic leadership and direction for enterprise banking applications. The role is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications, managing incident, problem, change, and release management processes, and driving operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading root cause analysis, maintaining compliance and risk management frameworks, managing vendor relationships and SLAs, driving business continuity and disaster recovery activities, strengthening quality assurance and process improvement, and delivering executive-level reporting. The manager will also lead and develop a high-performing application support team.

Must have

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Analytics, or an equivalent discipline
Possess minimum 10 - 15 years of banking experience, including significant exposure to Information Technology functions within a banking environment with experience and technical competencies in Temenos T24 core banking system
Strong knowledge of Core Banking Systems, data structures, application support management, and technology governance
Hands-on experience in managing large-scale application support environments, vendor management, incident management, and regulatory compliance

Nice to have

A Master's Degree in a related field will be an added advantage
Technical competencies in PL/SQL, Oracle, MS Project, MS Access, Advanced MS Excel, and related technologies will be advantageous
