PKI ANALYST
About the role
Micronet Global Services (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a PKI Analyst to manage and support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions for its clients and internal operations. The role involves certificate lifecycle management, key management, and ensuring secure implementation of cryptographic services across various applications and systems. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining certificate authorities, handling certificate requests and renewals, monitoring PKI systems, troubleshooting issues, performing incident analysis, documenting processes, and collaborating with IT and security teams. The PKI Analyst will also assist in audits, contribute to security policies and standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a strong understanding of PKI concepts, experience administering PKI solutions, knowledge of network and system security fundamentals, and familiarity with compliance frameworks. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required, along with professional certifications in security or infrastructure.
Must have
- Strong understanding of PKI concepts, digital certificates, certificate authorities, key management, and cryptographic protocols.
- Experience administering PKI solutions and related security tools (e.g., HSMs, certificate management platforms, identity and access management systems).
- Knowledge of network and system security fundamentals, including TLS/SSL, VPNs, firewalls, and secure configurations for Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot PKI-related incidents, and perform root cause analysis with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or similar) and documentation of policies, standards, and procedures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications in security or infrastructure (such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft or other vendor-specific PKI/identity certifications)
