Pre-Sales Engineer Cyber Security
About the role
The Pre-Sales Cyber Security Engineer will support the sales team by engaging with customers to understand their security requirements, designing tailored cybersecurity solutions, preparing technical proposals, and delivering presentations and product demonstrations. The role involves conducting technical discovery sessions, developing solution architectures, supporting the sales process, and staying updated on industry trends. Candidates should have a strong background in cybersecurity and networking, with excellent communication and presentation skills. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with both customers and internal teams, contributing to the design and delivery of enterprise security solutions.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Cybersecurity, Network Security, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on understanding of enterprise cybersecurity and networking solutions.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, BOQs/BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses, and solution designs.
- Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into practical business solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience conducting product demonstrations or PoCs is highly preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Cisco, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent will be an advantage.
