Level 01 System Support Engineer
About the role
The Level 01 System Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations at the first level of support, adhering to the Incident Management process, and maintaining proactive system monitoring. The role involves monitoring and diagnosing system issues using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) platforms, analyzing traces, metrics, and logs, and responding to incidents from internal users to restore services promptly. The position requires shift work on a 24x7x365 roster at the IT NOC Operation. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with observability and APM tools, as well as relevant certifications, are considered advantageous.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from a UGC-approved university.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Level 1 system support Engineer.
- Basic understanding of IT systems and networking concepts.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications in Linux, Windows, Networking (e.g., RHCSA, CCNA) will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Observability tools.
- Experience with APM tools like Datadog and ITSM tools is an added advantage.

Highlights
