About the role
Residue Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is hiring an AI Engineer to join their technology team. The role involves designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining intelligent solutions using machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, and modern AI frameworks. The AI Engineer will work closely with software engineers and product teams to turn business requirements into scalable, production-ready AI-powered applications. Key responsibilities include building generative AI applications, integrating AI models into web and enterprise applications, preparing and processing data, developing RAG pipelines, and maintaining technical documentation.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python.
- Good understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing concepts.
- Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to clean, analyse, and prepare structured and unstructured data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Previous AI project experience or a strong project portfolio is preferred.
