Technical Client Support - Trainee
About the role
The Technical Client Support - Trainee role is based in Kandy and requires onsite presence. The position involves providing customer support via calls, emails, and other channels, handling POS system setup and installation at customer locations, conducting software demonstrations, and troubleshooting basic software, hardware, and network issues. The trainee will also gather customer feedback and coordinate with the Software Development Team to resolve issues and implement enhancements. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a Certificate or Diploma in IT or a related field, and possess basic technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Certificate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and networking.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and system installations.
