Project Coordinator
About the role
The Project Coordinator at Pentagon i Runway is a full-time, on-site role in Colombo, responsible for supporting project planning and execution. The position involves organizing project activities, preparing schedules, tracking progress, coordinating communication between teams and clients, documenting requirements, and preparing status reports. The coordinator will also arrange meetings, maintain project documentation, follow up on action items, and assist with issue resolution and risk tracking. The role requires collaboration with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Must have
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Basic understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., scheduling, status reporting, risk tracking).
- Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools such as MS Office, project tracking software, and online communication platforms.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site, fast-paced technology environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in project coordination or administration, preferably within a technology or digital transformation setting, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with enterprise solutions such as ERP, BI, or planning tools (e.g., Axpert, Qlik, Siemens, Jedox) is beneficial.
