About the role

Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL), a leading finance company and subsidiary of Bank of Ceylon, is seeking applications for the position of Executive - Management Information System (MIS). The role involves preparing MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, working independently on data and generating various types of reports, maintaining high-level data analysis and accuracy, and supporting decision-making through strong communication and analytical skills. Must have

Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level.
A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ relevant experience, including experience in MIS Reporting, MS Excel, and generating Dashboards.
Excellent MS Office skills, with the ability to process reports in a presentable format.
Strong understanding of financial operations, MIS and reporting processes.
Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
Self-driven, results-oriented and adaptable to change.
Committed to high standards, continuous learning and process improvement.

Nice to have

A Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Business Management, Management, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline from a recognised university/institution will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in Macros, SQL and Visual Basic (VB) would be an added advantage.
