Solution Engineer / Infrastructure Automation and AI
About the role
This role is for a Solution Engineer specializing in Infrastructure Automation and AI within the IT department of a leading educational company located in Malabe. The position involves driving automation and AI initiatives across IT infrastructure, designing and maintaining automated workflows and scripts, administering IT infrastructure, monitoring system health and security, and managing identity, access controls, backups, and disaster recovery processes. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree, significant experience in scripting and automation, and a strong understanding of networking and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
Must have
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum of five (05) years of work experience after obtaining the educational qualification or a minimum of six (06) years of overall work experience in a relevant discipline including a minimum of one (01) year at an Assistant Manager, Supervisory/Lead role experience.
- Hands-on scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Power Automate, or similar).
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud/hybrid infrastructure and identity/access management fundamentals.
