Senior Power Apps Developer
About the role
The Senior Power Apps Developer (Part-Time) will design, build, and maintain custom business applications and automated workflows for an Australian client. The role involves transforming manual and legacy processes into scalable low-code/pro-code solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. Key responsibilities include developing advanced Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps, creating complex Power Automate flows, managing data structures and security models, developing custom components, and engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. The position requires a high level of independence, ownership, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications are an advantage).
- Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated, commercial experience designing and developing enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong sense of personal ownership, responsibility, and reliability, with demonstrated capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- A positive, solution-oriented attitude with the agility to adapt to evolving business requirements.
- Advanced hands-on proficiency in Power Apps (Power Fx, collections, responsive containers) and Model-driven application design.
- Strong expertise in building and troubleshooting complex Power Automate workflows and integrations.
- Solid grasp of database architecture, relational schema design, and security modeling within Microsoft Dataverse and SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with availability for scheduled coordination during Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT).
