Full Stack Software Engineer
About the role
This Full Stack Software Engineer role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP, Laravel, and React.js. The position involves developing and maintaining backend services with PHP 8.x and Laravel 12+, designing RESTful APIs, managing MySQL databases, and creating responsive frontend interfaces with React.js and TypeScript. The engineer will also leverage AI coding agents for development and troubleshooting, ensure application quality and security, and collaborate closely with project managers and other engineers. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Must have
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP 8.x and Laravel 12 or above.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript.
- Practical experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of MySQL, relational database design, and query optimization.
- Good knowledge of debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
- Knowledge of requirement analysis, SRS documentation, and technical specification creation.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI coding agents, with the ability to review and validate AI-generated code.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Certifications in PHP, Laravel, React.js, TypeScript, or cloud technologies will be an added advantage
