Digital Marketing Intern
About the role
Perpova Developers, an innovative IT company based in Matara, Sri Lanka, is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern. The role involves assisting with content creation and scheduling for social media, designing graphics and visuals for various marketing channels, supporting blog writing and content marketing, helping with basic SEO and keyword research, editing short-form videos, assisting in planning and monitoring digital campaigns, tracking engagement metrics, and supporting brand visibility initiatives. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, Design, or a related field, and possesses strong written communication skills in English, working knowledge of graphic design tools, and a basic understanding of social media platforms.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, Design, or a related field
- Strong written communication skills in English (Sinhala is a plus)
- Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for graphic design
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work independently
Nice to have
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut , Premiere Pro , or similar) – a plus, not mandatory
- Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite or Google Analytics is a plus
- A portfolio or sample of past design/content work is welcome (not required)
