Senior Product Manager - Aerospace & Defense (AI-Native)
About the role
IFS is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its Aerospace & Defense division, focusing on AI-native Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) software solutions. The role involves developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps, conducting market and competitive analyses, engaging with airline customers and stakeholders, and collaborating with engineering and design teams to prioritize features. The Product Manager will also define and monitor KPIs, drive transparency in product updates, and help develop go-to-market strategies. Candidates should have a strong background in the aviation industry, experience with MRO operations, and familiarity with aviation software regulations and compliance. Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential, as the role requires leading cross-functional teams and presenting to stakeholders.
Must have
- A degree in Computer Science, or a related STEM field; MBA is a plus
- Seasoned in the A&D industry, working with an Airline, MRO or OEM
- Proven experience in bringing complex MRO products from concept to deployment
- Comprehensive understanding of MRO tools, processes and regulatory requirements, interfacing with Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions
- Deep experience in managing through influence and driving results through cross functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with customers and senior leadership.
