About the role
The Head of Data & AI is responsible for developing and executing the enterprise Data and AI strategy in alignment with business goals. The role involves leading data architecture, analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, and AI initiatives, as well as establishing data governance frameworks and championing AI innovation. Key responsibilities include overseeing data and AI platforms, driving adoption of data-driven decision-making, building and mentoring a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with data security and governance, and collaborating with senior business leaders to deliver strategic opportunities. The position promotes a culture of continuous improvement and data excellence across the organization.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Data Management, Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI, or related technology domains.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Data and AI initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, cloud data platforms, analytics, and AI technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
- Experience in driving digital transformation and delivering measurable business outcomes through data and AI.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Information Management, or related discipline will be an added advantage.
