Junior Software Engineer – C# / .NET
About the role
A newly established company in Mount Lavinia is seeking a Junior Software Engineer with a strong interest in software development and practical coding skills. The role involves working with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and .NET MAUI, and requires a solid understanding of software development principles. The ideal candidate will be motivated, possess good problem-solving abilities, and be willing to learn and take on new challenges. The position is on-site in Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka, and may require occasional client visits. Preference is given to candidates residing in or around Mount Lavinia.
Must have
- Minimum of 2 years of software development experience
- Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and .NET MAUI
- Solid understanding of software development principles
- Ability and willingness to visit clients when required
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage
