About the role
The Consultant – SAP FICO will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP Finance and Controlling solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective SAP FICO sub-module configuration, production support, requirements gathering, functional specification preparation, testing, deployment, and support for financial closing processes. The consultant will also collaborate with ABAP developers for custom developments and provide expertise to improve business processes and system performance.
Must have
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support across the above-mentioned sub-modules.
- Sound understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional specification preparation, testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ability to work effectively with ABAP developers on technical developments, integrations, and enhancements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- SAP certification in FICO will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in large enterprise SAP environments is desirable.
