Associate Lead - Microsoft Azure and Infra
About the role
The Associate Lead - Microsoft Azure and Infra is responsible for designing, building, and supporting the organization's hybrid infrastructure, spanning both Microsoft on-premises environments and the Azure cloud. The role involves leading enterprise-grade Microsoft infrastructure projects from design through delivery, covering technologies such as Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Azure virtual machines, networking, Entra ID, storage, backup, and disaster recovery. The position requires a hands-on technical specialist with an AI-first mindset, capable of automating operations and ensuring the platform's security, availability, and performance. Key responsibilities include infrastructure design and support, automation, migration planning, troubleshooting, documentation, and delivering technical workshops.
Must have
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft on-premises infrastructure and Azure.
- Strong pre-sales skills, including requirement gathering, solution design and technical presentations.
- Ability to work independently and deliver requirements on time.
- Ability to work closely with clients to identify their problems and propose suitable solutions.
- Ability to work with support teams to guide them and improve their processes and technical capability.
Nice to have
- All relevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
- Other cloud-related and DevOps certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, HashiCorp Terraform Associate) will be an added advantage.
