Team Leader - IT Operations
About the role
The Team Leader – IT Operations will be responsible for ensuring the effective and professional delivery of IT system operations services in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and INSEE standards. The role focuses on maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure while leading a team to deliver efficient support services. Key responsibilities include managing IT incidents, monitoring security, overseeing infrastructure, ensuring compliance, managing contracts, and leading a high-performing team. The position requires strong operational leadership, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement of IT systems, security, and compliance practices.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT operations support (servers, networks, backup systems, OT systems)
- Strong knowledge of IT service management, network and system administration
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001/2 and NIST
- Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, Windows/Linux OS, firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup management
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Results-driven with the ability to manage pressure and meet operational targets
Nice to have
- Exposure to OT, IoT, or ML technologies will be an added advantage
