Functional Consultant - Sage X3
About the role
The Functional Consultant - Sage X3 will participate in ERP implementation and enhancement projects, handling tasks from requirements gathering to post-go-live support. Responsibilities include business process analysis, system configuration, preparing functional specifications, collaborating with technical teams, conducting testing and training, supporting data migration, and providing ongoing functional guidance. The role requires strong experience with Sage X3, particularly in financial and distribution modules, and involves managing multiple project priorities and junior resources. The position is with InTalent Asia's client in Sri Lanka, within the ERP Consulting & Business Technology Solutions industry, and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sage X3 implementation, support, or consulting.
- Strong functional knowledge of Sage X3 Financial modules, including:General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
- Experience in business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering.
- Experience with ERP implementation methodologies and project delivery practices.
- Knowledge of data migration processes and system integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
- Implementation experience of Sage X3 ERP and should have done end to end complete implementation for at least 5 projects.
- Experience in implementing Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing modules of Sage X3.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Sage X3
- Good Leadership skills to manage and motivate the junior resources and running the projects profitably.
- Excellent in communication in English and excellent client management and relationship management
- Should be certified in Sage X3 Finance and Distribution module
Nice to have
- Exposure to Sage X3 Distribution, Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain modules will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools will be an advantage.
- Sage X3 certifications will be considered an added advantage.
