React Native Developer intern
About the role
Jepsoft is seeking a React Native Developer intern for a full-time remote position. The intern will be responsible for building and improving mobile applications using React Native, implementing user interfaces, integrating APIs, fixing bugs, and optimizing app performance. The role involves collaborating with designers and developers, participating in code reviews, testing features, documenting work, and staying updated with JavaScript and mobile development trends. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in a professional software development environment with mentorship and opportunities to grow technical skills.
Must have
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and JavaScript for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces in React Native.
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development to work with APIs, data handling, and overall application architecture.
- Candidates should possess skills in Redux.js and state management concepts to structure scalable and predictable app behavior.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn quickly in a remote environment are important.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are expected.
Nice to have
- Foundational knowledge of React or React Native, mobile UI patterns, and RESTful APIs is beneficial.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
