About the role

Pentagon i Runway is seeking a React Native Developer for a full-time, on-site position in Colombo. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance and scalability. Responsibilities include collaborating with product owners, UI/UX designers, and other developers, integrating APIs and back-end services, optimizing applications, writing clean code, troubleshooting, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with mobile technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development skills, experience with React Native and JavaScript, and a solid understanding of back-end concepts and software development practices.

Must have

Strong proficiency in Front-End Development, with experience building responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React Native and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts and Software Development practices, including RESTful APIs and integration with server-side services.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries, including Redux.js for state management in complex applications.
Knowledge of mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and debugging tools for both Android and iOS platforms.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Colombo, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and publishing apps to app stores is an advantage.
