About the role
The Assistant Manager – Branch Transformation will be responsible for driving branch transformation and automation initiatives, including involvement in the LIME project. Key duties include providing insights during requirements gathering, executing user acceptance testing, facilitating end-user training, supporting live implementations, and resolving issues during go-live phases. The role requires significant experience in branch operations within a reputable bank or financial institution, as well as strong knowledge of operational procedures and regulatory requirements. Candidates should have advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have
- Full or part qualification in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL)
- Minimum 5–6 years of hands‑on experience in Branch Operations within a reputable bank or financial institution
- Strong understanding of day‑to‑day branch functions, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong team‑oriented and customer‑focused mindset
Nice to have
- Solid knowledge of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Control would be an added advantage
