AI Music Producer – AI Tools Research & Testing
About the role
TechZnap is seeking an AI Music Producer to research and test the latest AI music and audio tools for their YouTube content. The role involves hands-on testing of new AI music apps, creating demo audio examples, recording tool walkthroughs, providing structured research notes, reviewing scripts for technical accuracy, and identifying emerging trends in AI music tools. Candidates should have real music production experience in a DAW, strong musical knowledge, hands-on experience with AI music tools, and the ability to explain complex concepts simply. The position offers the opportunity to shape content that reaches a global audience and to work closely with a collaborative team.
Must have
- Hands-on music production in a DAW such as FL Studio, Ableton or Logic, with solid mixing basics.
- Comfortable with music theory, BPM, keys, stems, arrangement and genres.
- Real experience with AI music tools such as Suno and Udio, and curiosity about every new one.
- You use AI tools creatively but trust your own ears. You know when an output sounds wrong and why.
- You can explain producer-level concepts in simple terms to non-musicians.
- Sinhala for team communication.
- Your own computer, DAW and quality headphones or monitors for testing and production work.
Nice to have
- Experience creating music or tutorial content for YouTube or social media
- Vocal or instrument skills
Highlights
The role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setup in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. Sinhala language skills are required for team communication. Applicants must have their own computer, DAW, and quality headphones or monitors. Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a short test task as part of the application process.
