Technical Intern
About the role
The Technical Intern at IQuest (Pvt.) Ltd. will support the IT team with daily technical operations and customer service activities in a full-time, on-site role based in the Colombo District. The intern will assist with hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, documentation of technical issues, and maintenance of service records. Additional responsibilities include supporting after-sales and warranty-related tasks, performing basic network checks, testing systems before deployment, and coordinating with senior technicians to resolve client problems. This position offers practical exposure to IT support and solution implementation within a company known for its responsive service and commitment to client satisfaction.
Must have
- Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic software troubleshooting.
- Ability to learn and apply IT support procedures, including installation, configuration, and testing of systems.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and willingness to follow established technical guidelines.
- Good communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in the Colombo District and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Interest in developing a career in IT solutions, technical support, or systems administration.
