Full Stack Developer Intern (Laravel & Python)
About the role
JAAN Network (Pvt) Ltd is seeking two Full Stack Developer Interns to join their team onsite in Colombo 3 for a 6-month internship. Interns will work on live projects, building and maintaining features across both the front end and back end of web applications using Laravel and Python. Responsibilities include developing backend functionality, building responsive user interfaces, working with databases, participating in code reviews, and improving existing applications. Candidates should have experience with Git, Python, and Laravel, and be undergraduates or recent graduates in a relevant field. The role offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and the potential for a permanent position based on performance.
Must have
- Git (version control, branching, pull requests)
- Python
- Laravel (PHP)
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Understanding of databases (MySQL or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Good communication and the ability to work in a team
- Able to work onsite in Colombo 3 for the full 6 months
Nice to have
- Experience with a front-end framework (React, Vue or Angular)
- REST API development
- A GitHub profile or portfolio of personal or academic projects
