About the role

SmartBiz.lk is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Intern to help introduce their modern POS and business management platform to small businesses across Sri Lanka. The role involves identifying and connecting with potential customers, promoting the platform through various marketing channels, introducing the POS system to business owners, generating sales leads, supporting digital marketing campaigns, and building relationships with customers to gather feedback. The ideal candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, an interest in sales, marketing, business development, or technology, confidence in communicating with business owners, basic knowledge of social media and digital marketing, and a self-motivated, results-oriented mindset. Previous experience is an advantage but not required, as enthusiastic beginners are welcome. This paid internship offers practical experience in SaaS sales and marketing, exposure to customer acquisition, and opportunities to develop key professional skills.
