Computer Vision AI Engineer
About the role
BPI Cybernetics is seeking a Computer Vision AI Engineer to develop and deploy computer vision models for IoT systems, particularly on edge devices and connected cameras. The role involves building and training models for detection, segmentation, tracking, and OCR, managing datasets and annotation workflows, optimizing and deploying models on devices like NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi, and integrating vision solutions into IoT devices for monitoring and quality inspection. Candidates should have a BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, at least 2 years of experience in computer vision with a production model shipped, and strong skills in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, OpenCV, and experience with embedded or IoT hardware.
Must have
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in computer vision, with at least one model shipped to production
- Strong Python; PyTorch or TensorFlow; OpenCV
- Knowledge of modern detection and segmentation models (YOLO, Mask R-CNN, DETR, SAM)
- Experience deploying models on embedded or IoT hardware; Linux, Git and Docker
