About the role
The IT Sales Executive will support the sales team in promoting and selling IT products and services. The role involves assisting with customer inquiries, preparing quotations and sales proposals, maintaining customer relationships, and staying updated on IT products and market trends. Candidates should have a basic understanding of IT products, strong communication skills, and an interest in technology and sales. The position is based in Colombo and offers the opportunity to be part of a growing team in the IT industry.
Must have
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification or an equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of Web Development, Software, Databases and Applications.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn about new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a target-oriented mindset.
Nice to have
- A diploma or certificate in IT, Information Systems, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Previous 1-2 years’ experience in IT sales, customer service, or a similar role will be an advantage.
