Infrastructure System Administrator
About the role
Capgemini Engineering is seeking an Infrastructure System Administrator to join their IT team. The role involves administering and monitoring Windows and/or Linux servers, managing virtualized environments, implementing backup and recovery solutions, and ensuring the availability, security, and performance of the organization's technology infrastructure. Responsibilities also include managing network infrastructure, supporting migration and modernization projects, resolving incidents, and maintaining technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in systems and infrastructure administration, strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, experience with virtualization, networking, and backup solutions, as well as good technical English skills. Must have
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems and infrastructure administration.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents.
- Good knowledge of technical English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Microsoft, VMware, or equivalent certifications.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and system hardening.
