Intern - AI Augmented Development
About the role
This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduates or recent graduates in Computing, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields to gain hands-on experience in AI-augmented software development. The intern will work on real-world business solutions, including gathering requirements, designing dashboards, developing workflow automations, using AI tools for coding, reviewing AI-generated code, and preparing technical documentation. The role provides structured training, mentoring from senior leadership, and exposure to a regional technology business operating across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East & Africa.
Must have
- An undergraduate or recent graduate in Computing, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of software development fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude and GitLab.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- A curious mindset, discipline, and a strong sense of ownership.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Power BI, Zoho Analytics, or similar dashboard tools.
- Experience with low-code platforms or workflow automation.
- A personal project portfolio or GitHub profile.
- An understanding of secure coding practices.
