Senior Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade)
About the role
SCU (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade) to join their academic team. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and related computing subjects. Responsibilities include developing and updating course materials, supervising student research projects and dissertations, conducting scholarly research, participating in curriculum design and programme development, providing academic advising, engaging with industry partners, and contributing to faculty and university committees. Candidates must have a PhD in a relevant discipline, proven teaching experience in higher education, expertise in at least two specified areas, demonstrated research capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to supervise student research projects.
Must have
- A PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in higher education.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in at least two of the following areas: Robotics, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Cyber Security.
- Demonstrated research capability with publications in reputable journals or conferences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise student research projects and dissertations.
