Cyber Security & Compliance Officer
About the role
The Cyber Security & Compliance Officer at PBSS Group will be responsible for strengthening the company's information security framework, managing cyber risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include monitoring and assessing cyber security risks, implementing and improving security policies, conducting compliance assessments, supporting audits and investigations, maintaining documentation, coordinating with various departments, and leading cyber security awareness initiatives. The role requires a relevant degree or diploma and at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, along with strong knowledge of security frameworks and analytical skills.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Cyber Security, Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the same or a similar capacity in Cyber Security & Compliance.
- Sound knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, information security controls, risk management, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
- Good understanding of vulnerability management, incident management, access control, security monitoring, and cyber risk assessment.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
