IT Administrator
About the role
The IT Administrator will provide comprehensive IT support and administration for a company in the shipping, logistics, and maritime services industry, based in Colombo 01, Sri Lanka. The role covers first and second-line IT support, user administration, Microsoft 365 and cloud administration, hardware and software management, network and infrastructure support, IT security and compliance, systems monitoring, and IT asset and vendor management. The position requires a degree in Information Technology or equivalent, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge in Microsoft 365, networking, backup and recovery, asset management, and cybersecurity. The company, InTalent Asia, is recruiting on behalf of their client for this full-time, onsite role.
Must have
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT infrastructure management.
- Experience working within enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Intune, Azure Administration, Endpoint Management and ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
- Good understanding of networking technologies including LAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and firewall administration.
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures.
- Knowledge of IT asset management, configuration management, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including: MFA, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Zero Trust Principles,
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
