Project Management Intern
About the role
Irusri Group, an IT consulting company with operations in Sweden and Sri Lanka, is seeking a Project Manager Intern for a paid internship. The intern will assist in planning, organizing, and delivering software projects, working closely with teams across Sweden, Finland, and Sri Lanka. Responsibilities include supporting project meetings, tracking progress using tools like JIRA or Trello, maintaining documentation, coordinating between stakeholders, and contributing to client updates. The role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment, mentorship, and opportunities for skill development.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, IT/Information Systems, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; structured, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and basic project tracking tools.
- Interest in technology, digital products, and learning modern project management practices.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum or project management concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
