Cyber Security Analyst
About the role
The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring systems, networks, and security tools, as well as detecting, investigating, and responding to security incidents. The role involves monitoring security logs, alerts, and vulnerabilities, supporting firewalls, antivirus/EDR, and security solutions, conducting security assessments and vulnerability checks, assisting with audits, compliance, and security documentation, and supporting access management and security controls. The position is based on-site in Colombo 06 and operates Monday to Friday from 12pm to 9pm. Applicants should have a diploma or degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least one year of relevant experience.
Must have
- Diploma/Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of network, endpoint & firewall security
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN & basic networking
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners or firewalls is an advantage

Highlights
