About the role
This mid-level Data Scientist role focuses on analyzing and modeling time series sensor data to support care monitoring solutions. The position involves working with noisy, largely unlabelled data, applying signal processing techniques, and developing robust forecasting models to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in time series analysis, proficiency in Python, R, or Julia, and strong SQL skills. The company is seeking someone who can help extract meaningful features from sensor data and contribute to long-term trend analysis. Experience with deep learning, transformers, LLMs, or data-to-text generation is considered a plus.
Must have
- 3–5 years of experience in a data science or analytical role.
- Experience working with time series data or familiarity with sensor data settings.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, R, or Julia.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience working with large, noisy, and often unlabelled datasets.
Nice to have
- experience with deep learning approaches (e.g., transformers), large language models (LLMs), or data-to-text generation to enhance modeling and user-facing insights.
