Enterprise Data Architect
About the role
The Enterprise Data Architect role is a part-time senior consulting position focused on providing architectural leadership for enterprise data platform initiatives, especially in financial, regulatory, public-sector, and mission-critical environments. The role involves designing and defining enterprise-grade data architectures, including data ingestion, storage, transformation, integration, analytics, reporting, governance, and AI/ML requirements. The architect will also establish architecture standards, prepare technical proposals, and provide guidance to various technical teams. The candidate must be available for client meetings and technical discussions, representing the company professionally.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including strong experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Architecture, or Solution Architecture.
- Proven experience designing or implementing at least one enterprise-scale data platform or enterprise data solution.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes/Lakehouses, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, integration, data modelling, and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, security, RBAC, encryption, and audit requirements.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to independently represent the company during client and technical meetings.
- Mandatory availability to attend in-person and online meetings when required, despite the role being part-time.
- Must be willing to provide a professional CV and project experience for inclusion in tenders, EOIs, RFPs, and client proposals.

- Experience in banking, financial services, regulatory, government, or other mission-critical environments will be a strong advantage.
