Quality Assurance Analyst
About the role
The Quality Assurance Analyst at Mind Plus Careers & Development is responsible for planning and executing manual tests, developing and maintaining test cases, and documenting defects. The role requires close collaboration with product, development, and operations teams to validate new features, ensure quality standards, and support root-cause analysis. Key tasks include reviewing requirements, performing functional and regression testing, tracking test results, and contributing to the improvement of QA processes and documentation. The position is full-time and based on-site in Colombo.
Must have
- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret requirements, identify gaps, and troubleshoot issues.
- Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices within software or technology environments.
- Proficiency in Manual Testing techniques and skill in designing and executing Test Cases.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and familiarity with defect tracking or test management tools.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and basic knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site in Colombo.
- Relevant diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; professional QA or testing certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality outcomes.
