Intern Vue developer
About the role
SiTechra (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an Intern Vue Developer for a full-time, on-site position in Jaffna. The intern will support the development and maintenance of Vue.js-based web applications, working closely with senior developers to implement user interfaces, integrate APIs, and optimize front-end performance. Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, fixing bugs, writing clean code, testing components, and documenting features. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world projects and an opportunity to learn best practices in modern front-end development within a supportive team.
Must have
- Foundational front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of Vue.js (components, state management, routing) and interest in modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and ability to translate designs into functional interfaces.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to research, learn new technologies quickly, and apply feedback to improve code quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to debugging and testing.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in building scalable web applications and developing a career in front-end development.
Nice to have
- Exposure to backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Laravel) and APIs is an advantage but not mandatory.
