About the role
This internship position involves assisting with the setup and configuration of network devices, diagnosing and resolving network issues, and supporting the implementation of new network projects. The intern will also help monitor network traffic, maintain documentation, and report findings to senior engineers. The role is suitable for undergraduates in networking or related fields who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in managed network services.
Must have
- Undergraduate in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Professional certifications in Network Engineering such as Cisco CCNA, Fortinet FCA, Huawei HCIA, or equivalent certifications
- Understanding of various network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and their roles in network communication
- Understanding of network security measures and assisting in the implementation of best practices
- Knowledge on Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Visio
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and customer management skills
